Black Domina 98 sits squarely in the realm of a deeply relaxing indica dominant hybrid, tipping the scales at roughly 90 percent indica to 10 percent sativa. It is a deliberate cross between the legendary Black Domina and Pre-98 Bubba Kush, yielding buds that are chunky and resinous. The nugs are oversized and pepper shaped, a dark olive green with deep amber undertones, thin orange hairs, and a coat of purple-tinted white crystal trichomes that hints at the strength within.
On the mind and body, the strain unfolds with a slow, creeping ascent. A wave of euphoria lifts the mood with a sense of happiness, while physical relaxation settles in, locking the limbs to the couch as sedation deepens. This heavy body high is commonly followed by sleep, making it a frequent choice for winding down. Typical potency sits in the 18 to 21 percent THC range, with CBD generally from 0 to 1 percent, and a profile often used to address chronic pain, cramps, insomnia, muscle spasms, or nausea.
Flavor and aroma nod to citrusy brightness tempered by coffee and spice. The lemony citrus notes carry a spicy edge and a lightly peppery coffee exhale, while the scent mingles citrus, earth, and nutty coffee with a hint of woody depth. In the exhale and finish you can sense the same blend of citrus, coffee, and spice, with subtle nutty echoes and a pungent, sour lift that lingers as the nugs deliver their resin.
