Black Ice is an indica-dominant hybrid, with roughly 70 percent indica and 30 percent sativa, bred by Moon Seeds. It stems from crossing Black Dominia with Ice, delivering a potent 24 percent THC profile. The buds are frosty and mint-green, streaked with fiery orange hairs and a thick resin coating that catches the light and the imagination.
Its effects fuse euphoric clarity with a deeply relaxing body high that can feel couch-locked, yet users often report staying surprisingly functional and engaged. The onset can be lethargic, with mobility restricted for about an hour as the compound takes hold and the mind eases into a calm, uplifted mood.
For relief, Black Ice can ease chronic pain, insomnia, and stress, while also smoothing mood swings and depressive symptoms for some patients. The aroma has a floral hay character, complemented by a sweet berry scent and a spicy exhale. On the palate the flavor mirrors this blend, offering herbal and pine notes with a sugary berry backbone and a warm spice finish, leaving a resinous aftertaste.
