Coastal OG, sometimes known as Lost Coast OG, is a slightly indica-dominant hybrid born from crossing Chemdawg 4, Pakistani Kush, and Lemon Thai. Its profile unfolds with a zesty herbal bite reminiscent of garlic, while the scent sits on a bed of earthy musk with hints of sour lemon and sweet pine. The buds are dense and dusty green, etched with bright orange pistils and a fine sheath of clear crystal trichomes. This lineage yields a plant that leans toward clarity and momentum, even with a gentle indica undercurrent.
The high arrives as a surprisingly cerebral lift that complements Coastal OG's light indica tilt. Expect an energetic onset that elevates mood and sparks a feeling of euphoric happiness, accompanied by a sharpening of focus. As the effects mature, a relaxed bodily vibe settles in, balancing motivation with a touch of lazy ease. In wellness terms, many users reach for it to ease chronic pain, stress, insomnia, and depressive symptoms while staying capable of daytime tasks or evening relaxation.
Flavors ride a note of sweet musky citrus with a piney aftertaste that stays smooth on the palate. The aroma mirrors this mix, combining citrus, earthy musk, pine, and a hint of sweetness. Genetically, Coastal OG is cited as Indica Dominant at about 60 percent indica to 40 percent sativa, though specific THC figures are listed as unknown in the source material.
