F 13 Throwback emerges from a collaborative project between DJ Short and his son JD Short, paying homage to a storied line while exploring a brighter, more energizing cross. The plant is a sativa-leaning hybrid that blends DJ Short’s renowned F 13 with a Blueberry phenotype, uniting the classic, punchy structure of F 13 with the lush fruit-forward heritage of Blueberry. The aim was to preserve clarity and lift typical of sativas while weaving in the depth and character carried by the blueberry flavor, resulting in a daytime-oriented glow that feels both focused and uplifting.
Visually, the buds charm with rich blue and violet tones that crest along extended calyxes, producing a striking, jewel-like appearance. Aromatically, it releases a fruity berry bouquet that echoes its ancestry, inviting the senses with sweetness and a hint of tartness. The resin coats the surface, catching light and amplifying the plant’s allure.
On the effects front, F 13 Throwback tends toward an energizing, sociable high that can enhance activity, whether on a dance floor, during a workout, or in casual social settings. Users often report a buoyant mood, clear-headed focus, and a sense of motivation that pairs well with movement and conversation. Some descriptions even note an aphrodisiac-like warmth to the experience, contributing to a lively, connected vibe.
