Face Melt OG is a balanced hybrid, carrying an even 50/50 split between indica and sativa. It results from a cross that pairs Grimace OG with a lineage weaving Face Off OG together with Rare Dankness #1, yielding a cultivar that emphasizes both mind and body effects.
The effects tend to arrive quickly after exhale, beginning with a light tingle at the sides of the head and behind the eyes. This sparks creative thoughts and a buoyant sense of euphoria, softening worries while leaving room for a touch of unfocused energy. A warm, body-warming relaxation soon follows, anchoring the user to a comfortable couch while mood remains uplifted.
Flavor-wise, Face Melt OG carries citrus and pine with sour and spicy accents, while the aroma leans toward citrus, earth, herbal notes, pine and wood. The buds are small, rounded olive-green nugs threaded with dark amber hairs and encrusted with chunky golden amber crystal trichomes. With THC typically in the 20 to 21 percent range, this strain is noted for helping relieve chronic stress, depression, fatigue, nausea, and appetite loss, making it a go-to option for a day that needs to be melted away.
