Face Off OG Bx1 is a clone-only cultivar maintained by Archive Seed Bank. Its lineage hails from Face Off OG, with an unknown partner contributing to a backcross-like blend that is kept in vegetative propagation to preserve stability across runs. Growers who work with this line reproduce it strictly from rooted mother plants to maintain consistent expression.
Visually, the buds present a striking contrast: purple calyxes frosted with stark white trichomes, a sheen that reads as resin-dense and potent. Descriptions lean toward a loud, unmistakable presence in both aroma and effect, a profile that tends to demand attention rather than subtlety.
Through many breeding efforts, Face Off OG Bx1 has traveled across the California scene, finding its way into numerous favorite cultivars and influencing a broad array of selections. Its enduring legibility—crystal frost, purple hues, and a robust OG backbone—speaks to its role as a foundational clone that continues to shape flavor and structure in the regional cannabis landscape.
