Frost Giant is a meticulously balanced hybrid, a 50/50 blend of indica and sativa born from a cross between Oregon Pineapple Hash Plant and Wizard’s Potion. The buds are famously oversized and fluffy, presenting as spade-shaped nugs with a dark blue-green body and deep blue undertones, touched by thin bright orange pistils and a frosty coating of blue-tinted white crystal trichomes.
As you break apart the sticky nugs, the aroma releases a sourdough-like pungency tempered by nutty notes. The flavor mirrors this, delivering a sweet and spicy sourdough profile with a lightly nutty exhale that can lean pungent at times, while the overall scent veers earthy and herbal with hints of spice and sweetness.
The high arrives with almost immediate mental lift, delivering a cool, crystalline clarity through the mind before it settles into a calm, blissful state. Happiness swells and can feel a touch heady or unfocused as thoughts drift. A deep body buzz then takes hold, often locking you to the couch for hours on end. With THC commonly around 17% or higher, Frost Giant can help ease chronic stress, headaches or migraines, insomnia, and mood disturbances such as depression and mood swings.
