Hoth OG, frequently referred to as Hoth or Hoth Kush, is a perfectly balanced 50/50 hybrid whose exact parentage remains closely guarded. Though its lineage ties it to the OG Kush family, the mix of strains that contributed to its genome is kept secret. Named after the icy Star Wars world, this cultivar wears its frosty reputation in its buds: olive green, spade-shaped nugs densely coated with a glittering blanket of chunky white trichomes and accented by slender orange pistils.
As you break the buds, you will notice a perfume of dank kush and spicy florals, amplified by a pungent, lingering finish. The flavor follows suit with a heavy kushy floral profile, underscored by earthy dank notes and a touch of wood spice that sticks to the palate.
The high unfolds slowly, first washing over the mind with a calm, buoyant happiness and a comforting sense of relaxation that spreads through the body. A sedating undertone may drift in as the experience deepens, often accompanied by a strong urge to eat. With THC levels in the mid twenties, roughly 26 to 27 percent, Hoth OG is a popular choice for easing anxiety and stress, soothing chronic pain and depression, and helping to quell nausea and stimulate appetite.
