Negra 44 is an indica dominant hybrid, an 80% indica / 20% sativa cross between the beloved Top 44 and classic landrace lines. Its modest THC ceiling—around 11%—helps keep effects approachable for users at all experience levels. The buds themselves are medium in size, a dark olive green with spade-shaped structure and subtle purple undertones, crowned by clear pistils and a thin veil of sandy trichomes.
The onset is a gentle cerebral lift that eases racing thoughts and softens discomfort, accompanied by a light tingle. This heady lift soon settles into a full body warmth and muscle relaxation that can quiet aches and bring a comforting sense of calm. The experience leans toward the mellow side, with a possible uptick in appetite and occasional drowsiness, making it a practical option for managing anxiety, eye pressure, inflammation, and headaches.
Aroma and flavor profiles mingle citrus with earthy sweetness, delivering lemony citrus notes and a tangy floral aftertaste as you inhale. When broken apart, the buds release a lemon-earthy bouquet with a hint of fruity sweetness, and the taste follows suit with citrus, fruity, and herbal hints. The visual appeal and the balanced effects make Negra 44 a versatile choice for daytime to evening use, offering gentle relief from stress and discomfort without overpowering sedation.
