Power Outage is an evenly balanced hybrid, a deliberate cross between Nevada Power and Costa Nostra #9 that leans neither toward indica nor sativa. The effect arrives swiftly, quieting scattered thoughts and lifting the mood into a buoyant, giggly euphoria. Users often feel their eyelids flutter shut as the body settles into a relaxed, couch-ready calm. Because of its balanced lineage, the high can feel like a quiet shutdown of the mind followed by a soft, uplifting sense of creativity and ease.
With THC levels hovering in the upper twenties, this strain carries notable potency. It is frequently recommended for easing anxiety, chronic pain, depression, stress, and nausea, though its strength calls for careful dosing, especially for newcomers or those sensitive to strong effects. The experience can thread together calm, happiness, and a touch of euphoria, making it a fit for winding down or sharing a mellow, reflective session.
Flavor and aroma lean into a bold, multidimensional profile. The taste blends sweet and fruity notes with a dank, spicy pine and a skunky edge that lingers on the exhale. The aroma is similarly assertive, heavy with pungent diesel undertones complemented by savory skunk and woody accents. In appearance, the buds present as compact, diamond-shaped nugs in forest green with hints of purple, threaded by slender orange pistils and coated in amber-tinted crystals that catch the light as you admire them.
