Recon Gelato blends the ReCon and Gelato lineages into an indica-dominant hybrid, roughly 70% indica and 30% sativa. Celebrated as a celebrity child, it inherits a dense, resinous bud structure and a fragrance that hints at citrus and berry. The nugs are stout and mint-green with purple undertones, brushed with thick orange hairs and a light coat of purple-tinted white crystal trichomes.
Begin the session with a warm, uplifting mood that slowly yields to a deep physical calm. A buzzy sensation travels through the body, locking you to the sofa while the head stays energized and subtly aroused. As the high deepens, creative thoughts begin to flow, painting the mind with visions and ideas even as the body settles further into relaxation.
Its cannabinoid profile sits around 19 to 20 percent THC with about 1 to 2 percent CBD, making Recon Gelato a strong choice for chronic pain, anxiety or stress, depression, mood swings, and cramps or muscle spasms. Flavor notes lean toward sweet berry, cherry and citrus, with a tangy sour citrus finish; the aroma follows suit, combining citrus, earth, herbal tones with a pungent, dank-lemony bite that intensifies when combusted or vaped. In cannabis lore, this cultivar is prized for its balanced, couch-anchoring body effects paired with an inspiring spark of creativity and mood elevation.
