Royal Gala is a slightly indica-dominant hybrid (60% Indica / 40% Sativa) born from crossing Apple Fritter with Richard's Revenge. It’s the kind of cultivar that feels like a welcome invitation to a late-afternoon gathering, delivering a balanced blend of physical ease and gentle mental lift. The tasting notes lean fruity and bright, with Gala apples mixing with berry hints and a touch of skunk, while the aroma swirls with exotic spices and fresh herbs. The buds are dense and diamond-shaped, a forest-green body with emerald undertones, flecked by thin orange pistils and a sprinkle of golden-white trichomes.
On the potency front, Royal Gala carries a substantial 24-28% average THC, and its effects unfold gradually. The initial tingle creeps into the limbs and then blossoms into a full-body melt that leaves you happily settled into the couch. Simultaneously, the mind is carried to a soothing, carefree calm and a bright, easy uplift, making it a fitting companion for unwinding after work or social fatigue. This mix of physical ease and mental serenity makes it a versatile option for addressing chronic stress or anxiety, PTSD, depression or mood swings, and persistent pain.
Flavor follows from the aroma: a crisp apple sweetness with berry overtones and a whisper of spice, underscored by a skunky edge. When you inhale, a fruity orchard character comes forward, accented by earth and floral notes that linger into a warm, spice-kissed finish. In appearance and scent, Royal Gala offers a regal sensory experience that invites you to linger, relax, and savor a true royal moment at the end of the day.
