Silver Tip, commonly referred to as Montana Silvertip by cannabis enthusiasts, is a sativa-dominant hybrid born from a potent cross between Granddaddy Purple and Super Silver Haze. This lineage yields a strikingly high THC profile, typically ranging from the mid-twenties to near thirty percent, pairing an energized cerebral lift with a soft, comforting body calm. The buds themselves are notably handsome: long, narrow yet dense and leafy, cloaked in rich purple tones with dark olive green patches and a scatter of amber hairs, all sheathed in a thick frost of crystal trichomes and syrupy resin.
Aromatically, Silver Tip presents a fragrant chorus of floral berry notes eased by a hint of caramel, while the flavor follows suit with berries and caramel and grows sweeter on exhale. The overall profile often gets summarized as fruity, grape, and sweet, with those grape and berry flavors lingering through the mouth and into the aftertaste.
In terms of effects, users report a pronounced uplift and energetic rush accompanied by a vivid sense of euphoria and creative energy that can feel almost frantic. This is typically balanced by a relaxing, mellow body buzz that settles in with mild couch lock and droopy eyes. Medicinally, it is described as helpful for ADD/ADHD and depression, blending a focus-forward mood lift with gentle physical relaxation for a versatile day-to-evening experience.
