Smiling Dog is an evenly balanced hybrid produced by crossing Dosi and Lemon Alien Dawg, delivering an almost equal mix of indica and sativa influence. The onset tends to arrive with a buoyant lift of the mind, followed by a soothing wave that settles the body into comfortable ease. With THC in the 19 to 21 percent range, this cultivar often invites hours of a joyful, warming glow that feels both uplifting and grounded.
Its versatility extends beyond recreation into therapeutic use, where many patients seek relief from anxiety, stress, depression, and mood swings, as well as chronic pain and arthritis. The experience tends to blend mental brightness with physical calm, a combination that can help ease tension without leaving you sedated or couch-locked.
Flavor notes lean toward sweet citrus and lemon cookie, with sugary undertones and a touch of spice that hints at a nutty edge. The aroma mirrors this profile, mingling citrusy lemon with floral hints and a peppery spice. The buds present as minty-green, elongated nugs cloaked in orange hairs and shimmering trichomes, giving Smiling Dog a bright, inviting look that mirrors its uplifting temperament.
