Sour Maui Waui is a rare sativa-dominant hybrid forged from Sour Diesel and Maui Waui, a combination prized for its bright, uplifting character. With about a 70% sativa influence and 30% indica, the strain tends to spark clear-headed focus and a buoyant mood, making it a daytime favorite among cultivators and connoisseurs alike.
Its flavor rides a tropical sweetness with citrus notes and a tangy sour edge on the exhale, while the aroma merges spicy herbal and earthy tropical tones with a diesel-kissed bite. The flowers themselves present as small grape-shaped neon green nugs, streaked with golden amber pistils and a generous mantle of oversized crystal trichomes.
The high arrives quickly, lifting the mood into happiness and a lively, giggly focus that can feel almost cerebrally stoked for hours. As it settles, a heavier stone can surface, leaving the user relaxed yet unfocused at times. With an average THC of roughly 15 to 20 percent, Sour Maui Waui is frequently sought for relief from depression, fatigue, stress, loss of appetite, and migraines.
