Stairway to Heaven is an indica dominant hybrid, a blend of roughly 75 percent indica and 25 percent sativa. It results from crossing the legendary Hell's Angel with Alien Dog, a pairing that emphasizes deep relaxation. Named in tribute to a famous song, this cultivar seems to lift the mind as you exhale, clearing away racing thoughts and leaving a sense of happiness and ease while a gentle heaviness settles across the body.
Its flavor profile turns toward sour citrus with a brisk menthol on the finish, while the aroma combines citrus with spicy earthy notes and a noticeable menthol undercurrent. The buds themselves are long, airy grape-shaped nuggets in forest green hues, streaked with fine orange hairs and layered with a frosty crust of crystalline trichomes.
On the effect side the experience tends to arrive quickly, delivering a heady lift followed by a relaxed, full body calm that can be quite couch friendly. With THC in the 14 to 16 percent range, Stairway to Heaven has been noted for potential relief of anxiety, chronic pain, insomnia, mood swings and chronic stress, making it a versatile option for day and night use depending on tolerance. The overall sensation favors a calm happiness and a willingness to unwind, with the potential for sleep as the night deepens.
