XXX OG is an indica-dominant hybrid with roughly a 75/25 split in favor of indica, produced by crossing XXX with OG Kush. Its pedigree is underscored by a 2014 Los Angeles Cannabis Cup first place, a testament to its standout profile. The flowers themselves are large and dense, cloaked in a heavy resin of trichomes that invites close inspection and suggests a potent stickiness.
Its aroma defies expectation, offering lemony brightness interwoven with earthy and pine notes and a resinous, sap-like quality that lingers. The taste follows suit with a sweet, earthy backbone and a pungent snap, finishing with hints of wood. The high starts in the head, producing a buoyant lift before the body gradually relaxes into a calm, energized ease that can keep you active rather than sedate.
Medicinally, XXX OG is noted for helping ease anxiety, depression, stress, and even muscle spasms, with effects described as euphoric and happy, paired with a relaxing depth. Beyond mood support it is associated with relief from a range of symptoms, including ADD/ADHD, chronic pain, fatigue, headaches, insomnia, PTSD, and related discomforts. Flavors span lemon, pine, sweet, and wood, while aromas include earth, floral, pungent, and sweet; the THC content is not disclosed, inviting curious users to explore its profile with personal caution.
